Two men were spotted trying to break into a vehicle at the Ciocca Honda dealership located at 8001 Allentown Boulevard, West Hanover Township, around 5:45 a.m. on June 5, troopers detailed.

When Dauphin County troopers arrived the men hopped into a stolen car from New York City with a stolen license plate from New Jersey, according to the release. The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed east on Allentown.

"PSP successfully utilized spike strips on the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Laudermilch Road/Allenton Boulevard," Trooper Megan Frazer said in a statement. "The suspect vehicle continued east on Allentown Blvd. into Lebanon County."

That's when the driver lost control — crashing into a field near the intersection of Allentown Boulevard and Coons Creek Road in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County.

The driver and the two suspects ran into a wooded area, and a foot pursuit began.

PSP Harrisburg and Jonestown, the Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations, and Lower Swatara Township started a K9 search in the area. Two men were captured without further incident, according to Trooper Frazer.

Although the third suspect is still on the loose, troopers do not believe they are armed or are a threat to the public.

A description of the suspect was not released.
